That is a pretty good depiction of Brown Jenkin, given the description given by HPL. Brown Jenkin is also of my favorite mythos “characters” as it harks back to medieval representations of mis-natural creatures suggestive of the paintings of Hieronymus Boch. That fact that it is life-size is also a good feature. BTW, there is a YouTube video entitled “Making Brown Jenkin”, that might be of interest.
Dreams in the Witch House is one of my favorite stories from the mythos, because of it’s minimalism and suggestiveness. I can’t quite agree with learned specialists who consider it a minor effort. The tale is told in period mainstream settings, rather than far-off ruins in obscure lands making you believe it might be possible and is right here in modern America.

Oh very nice. Much better than the crappy Masters of Horror tv version.
Now that is a gem! Love it!

I always assumed HP based the Brown Jenkin story on that of Gef the Talking Mongoose. Fortean Times had a cover story on Gef late last year.
A great piece! I'll be getting one soon - I hope
