It's a distinct pleasure to feature Christian Matzke's WIP shot of his carved soapstone Cthulhu idol. His Mythos prop work was the direct inspiration for Propnomicon.

It's Not Easy Being Green
French artist Gruliette brings us this excellent LARP orc mask. The blend lines around the eyes and mouth are really well done.

Big Box o' Mutant Babies
Intellectually I know this is just a picture of some very well made props stored in a box. Viscerally, it's one of the more disturbing images I've stumbled across on the internet. This box of mutant babies comes to us from the talented Ivan Naumenko.

For the Emperor!
There's LARPing, and then there's "Sweet fancy Moses this is insane" LARPing. Reality Workshop brings us an example of the latter with this incredible Warhammer 40K Inquisitor's retinue.

The Mörkergubbe
"Mörkergubbe is a magical creature, that is steeped in centuries of mystique and dark science. These creatures were believed to possess arcane knowledge that granted them supernatural powers to command and control the forces of nature. And Mörkergubbe yet practice these lost arts, from ancient times often helping the human alchemists in philosophical and protoscientific tradition to purify, mature, and perfect certain objects."
The gifted Alice Tochylovska returns to our pages with one of the few surviving Mörkergubbe. You really need to click through and check out the entire gallery of pictures.

Great Cthulhu
This octopoidal Cthulhu idol comes to us from Juna Handmade. As I was giving it the "Cthulhu Idols" tag I realized we've featured well over 300 different sculpts over the years. That's easily a record for any kind of literary prop, outside of books like the "Harry Potter" series that have been turned into film franchises.

Forged in Fire
No faux finish here. Oak Forge, a Polish blacksmith, brings us this hand-crafted copper LARP amulet.
Update: My thanks to igorina for pointing out that "Zamec Grodziec" is actually a place name. My apologies.

Touched By Cthulhu
This wonderfully horrible Cthulhu-inspired silicone prosthetic comes to us from makeup artist Constance Eme. The black velvet shroud really sets off the fish-belly paleness of the mask.

The Crawling Chaos
Nigma Studios is kicking off a new line of Mythos-based figures with this immense (55cm/21") take on Nyarlathotep. It's a beautiful variation on the tripedal depiction that's become popular over the last decade, trading the goofy accordion pleated legs for sinuous, curling tentacles.

This beautiful set of Dwarven LARP armor comes to us from Arthammer Workshop. Molded in fiberglass with faux engraving and a detailed metal finish.

The Patriots
On this 4th of July let us celebrate our Independence Day by acknowledging the secret society behind the founding of our nation. No, not the Freemasons. The other secret society- the Assassins. Fell and Fair, who normally specialize in recreating Middle Earth, bring us their tribute to Assassin's Creed III for the holiday.

These fantastic LARP-safe blades come to us from Steel Gohst. Yes, that's how his name is spelled. The rusted steel finish is perfect.
