Dr. Jones, I Presume

Tóbal over at the Albino Dodo has posted some details about his impressive collection of Indiana Jones props. A large part of my own Mythos propmaking is an attempt to duplicate this kind of prop porn.

Hi!
I´m very happy with tree of this props: Grail cup , Grail diary and Atlantean idol.
The Grail cup and idol has a surface that imitate perfectly aged and buried items , dust in the surface , changes of texture...corrosion...I love them.
Grail diary has a distressing work on paper an leather cover that makes you feel like if you were holding a real thing , used , touched , wrapped...
I believe it is almost impossible to get this level of verosimilitude in a comercial prop.
