As an aside, a large percentage of "Call of Cthulhu" characters probably fought in the war, but the game itself rarely touches on it's impact. That seems a little odd considering that veterans of the war were the protagonists of some of his most intriguing stories, including "The Temple" and "Herbert West: Reanimator".
