"Game of Thrones" Dragon Eggs
The gifted Mike Iverson brings us this recreation of the dragon eggs from the "Game of Thrones" television series. Anyone looking to make thier own will find his detailed build guide an invaluable resource.
I am always pleased to see a well-documented tutorial. The photographic step-by-step is invaluable for those making eggs or anything in the round. The scale work made me think of Italian pastry scales made with sliced almonds. You can use the technique for fish as well: http://pastryandsports.blogspot.com/2010/12/fish-fillets-in-scale-of-chorizo-almond.html . I’m not sure about dragon egg omelet however. Getting them from the nest is the hard part. You could substitute ostrich eggs and lie.

Hoorah! I've been watching this gentlemans blog evern since his AoD arm build. I'm so glad to see another entry.
I'll have to add this to my "Things I need to try" list.
@CoastConFan
Can you imagine how cool marzipan dragon eggs would be for a "Game of Thrones" party?
@Phil
This is one of Mr. Iverson's few projects that I think I could actually do. He's an incredibly skilled prop fabricator.
I'm still waiting for "The Drowned God" to make an appearance on the show!
