Cthulhu Fhtagn! Stein Edition.
Lance Stein brings us this very nice primitive-style Cthulhu idol. I believe this was carved from real stone, but it may be plaster. His gallery has close to a dozen other idols you should take a look at.
Lance has created these out of real stone. One of the best parts about these sculptures is their imperfections, like an unfinished/uncarved back or bottom face, or a natural fracture. Was that missing limb part of his artistic vision or the result of it being chunked off a mountain? I know you like a convincing artifact, Propnomicon - I would love to distress and age one of these.
