Arkham Sanitarium Prop Project Update

The end is nigh, my friends.

I just received the tracking number for the lapel pins and they should arrive by Wednesday. That means the Arkham Sanitarium prop packages will start going out by the end of the week. If you're a patron you should already have an email from Kickstarter asking for your shipping information.

Here's a look at the patches. The one on the bottom is a freakish mutant that has the snake in red instead of green. As far as I can tell it's the only one in the run with that defect.

A closer, slightly overexposed look at one of the patches. Please forgive my terrible photography.

Not bad.

I should think that if you return the "red snake" patch to the vendor, they ought to replace it with a "green snake" patch....

No signs of gathering storm clouds yet?

Another wonderful resource from the plotter.

@ Raven

I rather like it's freakish strangeness. Besides, as the Keno twins always point out, manufacturing errors are always highly collectible.

And the clouds seem to be sticking to the horizon...so far. Heh.

Hey dude, could you maybe write up a tutorial about how you make the patches?

I'd really like to give it ago myself, but I can't work out how to.

It's actually a pretty easy process. Because they cater to organizations that aren't known for design work (public safety, military, business) most patch companies have on-staff artists that will translate your rough sketch into a final patch design. Some charge, but companies like Stadri Emblem (http://www.stadriemblems.com) include that service as part of your order price.
