Vintage Map of Australia
Continuing with this week's theme of props related to Lovecraft's "The Shadow Out of Time", a vintage map of Australia and it's environs. This was scanned from my beloved 1922 edition of "Winston's Cumulative Loose-Leaf Encyclopedia". Just click through to download the high resolution version from Picasa. Back in the early 90s I was part of a Cthulhu game set in Melbourne. It was interesting how much had changed while how much had remained the same.

One of the reasons I enjoy this particular hobby so much is that allows me do indulge my fondness for history.
