It’s really clever how the figure looks a bit like a Baal figure and at the same time an Egyptian Osiris, god of the afterlife, underworld, and the dead. It also doesn’t hurt that Osiris is generally depicted as being green. That pretty much puts you in the mood even before you realize it’s Cthonian. If you find these figures outside of a sealed tomb – don’t open it! Jason is pretty sharp with his figurines by having a bit of historical authenticity then giving it a bend around a sharp corner that isn’t there.
