The McCloskey Grimoire

Leigh J. McCloskey is a supremely self-confident new age author, actor, artist and...well, I'll quote from his website:
"In many ways Leigh J. McCloskey is a modern Renaissance Man. His interest, knowledge and learning ranges from history, religion, mythology and esotericism to string theory, quantum physics and the multidimensional nature of consciousness. He has deeply studied Hermeticism, Alchemy and Kabbalah and has hosted a twice weekly salon at his home for over twenty years. He has contributed numerous essays on topics ranging from William Blake and the Heroic Imagination to Jacob Boehme and Theosophical Thought. His work reveals many depths of knowledge and craftsmanship that could only have emerged from his fidelity to intellectual, creative and personal excellence."

There you have it. That said, I have to admit that I do find Mr. McCloskey's
illustrations for his personal grimoire strangely compelling . These were originally done for a book that was to appear in the film "Shadow of the Vampire". When that plotline of the film was edited out they were re-purposed as backdrops for the "Bigger Bang" tour by the Rolling Stones. The gallery features eighteen high resolution images that are quite inspirational for anyone creating their own grimoire.
