The Ryman Cthulhu

Todd Van Bronkhorst was kind enough to send over some shots of the James Ryman Cthulhu idol from Nemesis Now.  I've featured the sculpt before, but wasn't aware it was now commercially available.  It's a gorgeous piece, despite some oddness with the paint ops on the eyes.  What blew my mind was the fact the 12" figure was available for around $50.  That's an absolute steal for a figure like this.  With a repaint it would be an absolutely perfect prop.

Wow. This is going to positively dwarf every other idol I own. :P

The problem being: these are wholesalers who sell *only* to store owners, and their *minimum* first order is the equivalent of US$601, i.e. the cost of 12 Cthulhu idols....

@ Raven

That can certainly make finding a retailer difficult. This particular idol was purchased from the Big Bad Toy Store.

What I like best about this one is the base. Made to look like a building, it imparts a sense of hugeness to Cthulhu that I've rarely seen.
