Cthulhu Fhtagn! PRTrooper Edition.

PRTrooper brings us this Easter Island style Cthulhu idol.  Not many people know that the deforestation of the island was due to a shoggoth infestation.

There are a number of Pacific culture/Polynesian cult figures on the web that could be mined for ideas. You can start with the generic “Tiki-esque” figures, to much more lavishly decorated statues or drift over to the southern coast of South Americas and partake of Olmec heads. There are plenty designs for a prop statue or figure out there on the web. Just keep in mind that adding tentacles doesn’t make it Cthulhu.
