Wooden Dragonpriest Mask

Artist Corroder666 brings us this recreation of the wooden dragonpriest mask from Skyrim.  The sculpt does an excellent job of reproducing the wood of aged wood in resin.

 

 

 

Polyhedron Astrolabe

Artist Tomas Barcelo brings us the "Polyhedron Astrolabe", an intriguing faux-artifact.

 

 

Great Cthulhu

 Van Helsing brings us his Cthulhu icon, available as-is or as a mounted trophy.

 

Orc Head

This grotesque battle trophy of an orc head on a pike comes to us from Dustin Drerup of the appropriately named Beastcraft Props.

 

Tuck and Seal Letter Lock

Another interesting demonstration of period correspondence from the Letterlocking Videos channel on YouTube.  This time it's a recreation of the traditional tuck and seal technique used by poet Phillis Wheatley in a 1772 letter to her friend Obour Tanner.  The seal is relatively simple, making it perfect for in-game prop letters.  On interesting tidbit I came across is that the use of wafers is only appropriate for missives to friends and those of equal or lower class.  Messages to those higher on the social scale required a wax seal.

Cthulhu Tome

Another stunning example of tomecrafting from artist Alex Libris.  His "Cthulhu journal" features the sigil created for the Simon Necronomicon back in 1977.
