Curious devices, forbidden artifacts, mysterious creatures, and intriguing documents.
Wow, that’s very much in the mood of a Maori Mokomokami preserved head. The presentation of the prop is quite good too, a kind of in situ tableau. Surprisingly the tattoo designs are very reminiscent of the Temple of Doom Thuggee cult high priest, at least for me. Nonetheless, it’s an outstanding prop.http://maori.maori.nz/html/mokomokai.html http://nzetc.victoria.ac.nz/tm/scholarly/tei-ThoSmok.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mokomokai http://traffickingculture.org/encyclopedia/case-studies/mokomokai/ http://www.tollundman.dk/konservering.asp http://pinterest.com/walksonclouds/mummies-and-the-like/http://www.mummytombs.com/museums/germany.schleswig.landesmuseum.bog.htm
