Cyclops Finger Bone Dagger

Fox Henderson brings us this dagger crafted from the finger bone of a cyclops. The texture work is impressive.

The use of fossils by ancient peoples takes an interesting turn in a book, The First Fossil Hunters; Paleontology in Greek and Roman Times, which postulates that early people finding large fossils gave birth to some of the ancient myths. Indeed, some fossils were on display in ancient temples as artifacts of the Titans or monsters.
