The Tome
Copper Centipede brings us this nicely done ancient tome. The gnarled look of the cover was created with layers of cotton fiber and glue over cardstock.
Gorgous! Just to 'found next to a stone alter in the back of a cave' look I've been trying and failing to get lately.
Props on the technique as well. If you don't have cotton fiber, I've found that tissue paper or even paper towels work well too. Just soak them in watered down white glue, lay them on the cover then press wrinkles into it using a stiff brush.
