The Most Wonderful Day of the Year

I dearly love Halloween, but I love the day after Halloween even more. Don't forget to take advantage of the sales and stock up on raw materials for the long, cold winter ahead.

Hit up three Walgreen's pharmacies on my way into work today. Ended up with ten really nice resin skulls (two styles!) which are anatomically-correct for only three buck apiece. Plus some less anatomically-correct bags o' plastic bones with skull for four bucks. And some spider medallions... and... and...

It is the nicest post-Halloween haul I've ever had and indeed a happy day. All of this going to make the best Indiana Jones prop display area on earth.

I think one of the skulls would make a very nice mummy head. If only there was someplace I could find ideas on how to make one...

Mostly picked up toys for TOT's. We got 385 this year, and candy is expensive enough. We set the precedent of handing out snack bags with toys years ago, so gotta keep it up!

Didn't see anything else i really wanted. Wish Walgreen's had the full size skeletons on sale, but they sold out last month (I bought 2).

Do you mean a mummy's head like this one?

I think I had a tutorial on how I made that somewhere.
