Too bad he ripped off so many people over the years. That's why he's no longer selling his items. His PayPal and Ebay account have been suspended. I've been waiting for over 3 years now. Lost over 300 Dollars on this a$$hole !
The comment above is correct. I admired several of his items, and intended to acquire many of them. My first order went horribly, and after many months of stories and excuses I finally received the books I had ordered that looked as though they had been tossed together with little attention paid to either detail of the pieces or packaging for shipment. Books were damaged, and when looking through the printed material (which an email complaint was sent to me regarding the cost of printer ink) pages were out of order and some were upside down. Even if he gets his stuff sorted out I will not buy directly from him again.
Scam Fartist indeed !!!! Some of this art should be in my hands for years!!! Paid 400 USD for some statues sold on his website back in 2008. R.A.Poppe would send them to me within 6 weeks - Contacted him after 8 weeks because I was still waiting - He said he needed another 80 USD for shipping & handling although I'm sure we agreed all costs were included in the price. I told him to cancel the order and refund me my money. Of course I never heard from him again and it was too late for a Paypal dispute. Shame on you R.A.Poppe !! Burn in Hell !
The bastard ! Now I understand why I never received my Cthulhu statue ! He always said it was sent but obviously it was not ! I could live with the idea my item was lost in the mail as he claimed but this is a different matter now ! Anyone knows how to contact the scumbag ? His website is down and he's not selling on Ebay anymore. I should send my money to Nigerian internet-thiefs next time !
