Azura's Star

This recreation of Azura's Star from Skyrim comes to us from Yugiwow.  It's hard to imagine how they were able to cast something this complex, with multiple undercuts, in resin.

Surely, it wasn't cast as one whole piece. Each section of clear blue, the metallic, and the center piece were assembled after casting... maybe?

Hey, I'm the owner. It would be actually easier to cast in one piece. In a translucent resin then mask with thin tape and paint. We do insanely complicated molds for our products doing things I've never seen done before.
This was a early version of the azura star where we 3D printed separate pieces the arm pieces then the center pieces and the crystals in the middle are thin so the light can go through easier. Now we mold all the pieces making it drop proof. The arms are separated from the main body.
