The Hand of Y'golonac

Swedish artist Karbunkl is the creator of the Sign of the Children of Y'Golonac.  The Headless God is one of the more disturbing post-Lovecraft figures in the Mythos.  Ramsey Campbell's creation had more than a little influence on the Chaos gods of the Warhammer universe.

While I like the technique and look of this I have point out it's basically a "hamsa" a symbol important to both Islamic and Jewish tradition, except with an extra finger. The symbol represents different tenets in each culture, but since it is shared it also represents something of the connection and acceptance between the two cultures. So it seems a little in bad taste to use it for an evil cult...

Yes, of course it is based upon the Hamsa. I did not mean to offend.
I am sorry that I have made you feel this way, and hope that you can find solace in the fact that Y'golonac persistently feeds upon his own worshippers.
