One of the perennial problems of live action games is the difficulty of creating large-scale creatures. This approach looks like a potential answer to the problem. Fighting orcs and robed cultists is fun, but there's something about a massive beast bearing down on you that really triggers the adrenaline.

That’s a great puppet, in all senses of the word. It is certainly much better than the spider in Kingdom of the Spider, which seemed to be a Volkswagen bug with added spider legs that thrashed around. It seems I saw it at a drive-in along with another low-budget movie as a double feature, Laserblast in the late 1970s.
Wow! That makes my inflatable Cthulhu look pretty weak.
