The Nictonomicon

Cristóbal Graciá Salgado sent over a link to the Nictonomicon Kickstarter from Tomas Sanchez Hernandez, an effort to create a faux Lovecraftian grimoire using reproductions of period wood block prints. In addition to the tome itself the bestiary-style illustrations are available individually. I quite like the Mi-Go and Cthulhu pages.

The project looks really cool, but I'll offer up the usual cautions about Kickstarters.  Despite the best intentions of organizers any project can go awry, and if it does there isn't much you can do about it.

Tomes of Darkness

Across most of the internet calling something "creepy and disturbing" is an insult.  Here, it's high praise.  This pair of creepy and disturbing prop tomes come to us courtesy of Mr. Zarono.

Lovecraftian Newspaper Articles

Mike Jenkins has collected some excellent classic era articles to serve as filler elements for prop clippings.  It's wonderfully horrible stuff.

Sweet Lucille

This is foam.  I can't think of any higher praise for this recreation of Lucille from "The Walking Dead" by Sander Propworx.  Absolutely amazing. 

Numanewt Specimen

Tayler Brown returns to our pages with this fetal numanewt specimen.  The translucence of the flesh really sells it.

The Sorceror Troll

The gifted Alice Tochylovska brings us this wonderfully well done sorcerer troll. It's probably the triangular symbols and staff headpiece that gives me a heavy "Dark Crystal" vibe.
