Small Horror

Artist Stéphane Nguyen Van Gioi says this delightfully larval...thing.. is a Minion of Shub Niggurath.  It would be perfect floating in a specimen jar.

The Post

The aptly named Letterlocking Videos is back.  Their latest recreates a 1689 letter to the Count of Argeson in France.  It was discovered, unopened (!) in the Brienne Postal Archive.  This one is interesting because the missive is enclosed inside an envelope cut and folded by the sender and sealed with a starch wafer.

Cthulhu Fhtagn! Broom Edition

This nicely done Cthulhu idol comes to us from artist Michael Broom.  It's one of the very few to use indented eye sockets, which can produce an interesting effect where it appears the eyes are following you.

Beer...in Spaaaaaace!

This is a cool little project.  Indy filmmaker Create SciFi brings us a tutorial on creating futuristic beer, made with an off the shelf beverage can and some cheap stickers.  Best of all, the reusable seal means you can fill it up with the libation of your choice.  This would make a great immersive prop for science fiction games.

"Bride of Re-Animator" Miskatonic Badge

Last December we featured Morsoth's very cool Miskatonic University badge based on the one in Brian Yuzna's "Bride of Re-Animator".  Now he's back with the screen accurate version of that prop, based on the one owned by Pete Von Sholly.  Wondering why it says "Natural History Museum" along the top?  Click through for the whole story, and a downloadable, high resolution version of the badge.

You'll also find his complete collection of paper props, including some of particular interest to fans of the Mythos.
