Mystery Cthulhu Idol

I love when reality mirrors a Mythos story.

Over on Quora, someone asked "What's the coolest thing you've ever found in a thrift shop?"  Rick Rhay answered with this amazing find:
It is vaguely Lovecraftian, though it doesn’t match any of Lovecraft’s descriptions of the Cthulhu idol identified in “The Call of Cthulhu.” It is rich with symbols. On the front it features a Valknut, a Norse symbol representing fallen soldiers, along with a Cthulhu-esque “face” with deep hollow eye sockets.
It's a wonderful piece, but I admit to being stumped who the artist might be.  Which is something of an accomplishment considering the hundreds of Cthulhu idols we've featured over the years.

Anyone familiar with who the artist might be?  I've tried doing an image search on Tineye and Google, but can't find any matches.

Update:  My thanks to the commenters who pointed it it's a piece from the Mysterious Package Company.

  2. This turned up on the Facebook group "Weird Secondhand Finds That Just Need To Be Shared" and it was identified as being from The Mysterious Package Company which send out... well... mysterious packages. Kind of like mystery adventures that people then solve. This one is from a Viking/Cthulhu themed one.

  6. Oh wow I have one of these too. Got it at an estate sale. I'd love to know more about it. On the bottom, the tentacles (of Jormangander) support a Valknut. Old Norse symbology. One of Odins Ravens flying toward a norse long boat... I always thought it was a repro of something to do with Floki Vilgerðarson (who was the first Norseman to voluntarily move to Iceland after he found it with Ravens helping him)
