That’s a nice in-depth setup for a character in a scenario. The other physical props are good too. With on-line auction sites, it’s possible to find just the period object you need for a LARP or RPG scenario if you can’t make it yourself.
ReplyDeleteThe reason why they could not spread the word fast enough to residents in the area, is that their cries of, “molasses, molasses!,” went unheeded. Actually, yes the Great Molasses Flood of 1919 was a terrible tragedy. Previously, molasses was the primary sweetening agent in most poorer and lower middle class homes as white refined sugar was just too high except for special occasion. Interestingly enough, this wasn’t the last molasses flood as one happened in Honolulu in 2013.
