This jarring, alien figure has few elements that would link it to a known human culture, so it’s an outstanding job. The iron finish is very effective and not overdone.
That being said, a CoC scenario (or other RPG) might associate the figure with the superb iron craftsmanship that produced the celebrated Iron Pillar of Delhi, now presently situated in the Qutb complex in Delhi. Part of the lure of this pillar is its choice place in classic pseudoarchaeology books. That way you can imbed the figure in murky history and give you a jumping off point. Then again it could be from HPLs Dreamlands.
