The Parasite
Eamon Winkle brings us this fun little beastie. I'm really impressed by the tentacles. It may seem like a small detail, but they're devilishly hard to do. Getting a smooth, natural curve can be a maddening experience.
Those are very creepy! In a way they remind me of empty cicada carapaces, but with tentacles. I remember an emergence of 13 year cicadas and there were millions of them. Far from being creepy as children we collected the empty carapaces, having watched them emerge, played with the newly-emerged cicadas and enjoyed their song. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Periodical_cicadas
