For those of you who haven’t read Robert W. Chambers book of short stories, The King in Yellow, you can download it from Project Gutenberg for free in several available formats. The URL is http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/8492 A search of Project Gutenberg’s site will show 25 Chambers books also available for free download.
I have to wonder if Chambers himself had a hand in the book jacket design or an in-house graphics designer took it upon himself to create the sigil. I don’t know if we’ll ever know.
Coast Con: I believe Chambers painted the art for the cover, or at least the piece it was based on; the original art was featured on an episode of Hollywood Treasure some time ago.
