Actually, I think this use of an Elder Sign would be closer to a sigil than a seal in this case, in the sense that the Elder Sign was “magic” for lack of a better term, for warding against Ancient Evil. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seal_%28emblem%29 vs http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sigil_%28magic%29 It’s is a nice stamp, so very primal in its simplicity and quite authentic too. You need something truly horrible to use as a wax medium for the impression. I might suggest mixing up some polymer clay that looks like flesh and oh yes, add some hair too. That extra creepy touch would give just the right squick factor for your nice seal.
