this beautiful spellbook. It's a personal bias, but I bet it would be spectacular after an aging treatment. Wear and tear along the edges, accumulated grime in the crevices, flakes of the gilding worn off...
I think you're right. I do like the very unique way it attaches to the belt. Like it's at the ready.
ReplyDeleteI think that opposed to a "treatment," it would be better aged through actual "use." I once aged a sketchbook of fantastic creatures that way, and it comes out far more realistically worn. But I agree, a bit of weathering would help.
