The Spawn of Cthulhu

The incredibly talented Simon Lee brings us the spawn of Cthulhu. He has a real gift for capturing the look of tortured flesh, and I mean that as a high compliment. His technique is very reminiscent of Berni Wrightson's best work.

  1. A very refreshing take on the subject. Excellent craftsmanship.

  2. Props to the artist. Its not easy to capture the disturbingly twisted horribleness of a mythos entity. But by golly, Mr Lee has succeeded admirably.

  3. That’s a great cast. The intricate and delicate arms and fleshy skin is a tribute to the resin caster’s skill. I am glad to see a less anthropomorphic Cthulhu figure than the general run. The finish and patination is also quite good. Keep up the good work.
