ReplyDeleteI can totally see relabeling some Bawls energy drink as "Dr Whatelys Energy Elixer" (because of the glass bottle), and putting them in the General Store, or the Cafe at a LARP event. Then having these around 'town' to advertise - maybe with a clue to something hidden in one of the match books.

Quackery is such a fun subject and quack devices can be collected. They can form the basis of a Lovecraftian device for a prop. Here are several sites about quack medical devices. The electrotherapy devices are still available reasonably, but please don’t be tempted to use them.
