The Romans had bronze nib pen tips and I understand that other cultures produced them as well (read the Wikipedia articles on nip pens and dip pens) although the steel nip pen does not become common until the 1820s. The bone body is a nice touch and reminds me of the story The Killing Bone by Peter Saxon, based on the Australian witchcraft technique of Kurdaitcha or bone pointing. Having a magical bone handle on a pen to write eldritch texts would be a plus. That’s a nice prop idea and good execution overall. There are a few rare pen nib tips that are shaped like the pointing finger of a hand. One of those on your magical stylus would be a great enhancement.
