Little Sis
Artist David Presnell brings us this recreation of a traditional sideshow-style pickled punk. It's a shame the gloriously seedy curiosities that were such a big part of traveling carnivals are rarely seen today.
This one is totally disgusting...what means that is absolutely realistic!!! I think one of the most disturbing detail is this dark hair floating...blech!
Just a quick note for anyone out there planning to do their own 'Thing in a bottle'. Check your art supply store for Daler Rowney FW Artists' Acrylic Ink. I've found that adding a drop or two of Antelope Brown makes the liquid slightly murky, and tints it a wonderfully nasty greenish brown. Its also a great calligraphy ink for filling out labels. Best part is its only a few bucks a bottle.
he has some terrific props...love the title, too...."Theatre Bizarre"...

Ah, we all still pine for the long-lost days of the carnies, barkers, and freakshows. Maybe some day...
