Cthulhu Fhtagn! Perna Edition
Professional sculptor Gabe Perna created this 17" high depiction of Cthulhu. It's available as a resin kit, and his other models are equally impressive.
Great piece, but it has waaaay too much of a superhero vibe to be the Great Old One himself. Unless there is a new vigilante lurking the streets of Arkham by night! :-)
Well I like my Cthulhu on the chubby side. He should have something of a gut. This guy is ripped. It looks like he has been doing P90X or something! :-P
Given that the rationale for Batman's costume was to scare the hell out of criminals, I can just see Bruce Wayne slapping his forehead and saying, "Now why didn't *I* think of that?!"
Meanwhile, staff at MU's Orne Library have been commenting on how very *fit* Henry Armitage looks lately....

ReplyDelete@ P. S. Magnus
ReplyDeleteIt does have rather a Dark Knight pose, doesn't it?
