As an archaeologist and reenactor, it's far better than those curly handled single piece ones that are all too common despite being totally without provenance!
Rune staves are fantastic pieces of lore. A friend of mine has the Vegvisir as a tattoo. It supposedly guards against getting lost- I dare say it hasn't helped her much. The Last Northumbrianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10873592771901360712noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-423050459919800481.post-55365534285752213622014-10-04T17:37:31.955-07:002014-10-04T17:37:31.955-07:00PPS I forgot to list Viking knives:

It’s not in English and it has never been fully translated from the original Norwegian to my knowledge. Nonetheless this is the masterwork for Viking swords and well worth the download.

https://archive.org/details/DeNorskeVikingesverdEnTypologisk-kronologiskStudieOverVikingetidens_105CoastConFanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07250561260148656254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-423050459919800481.post-49925031458016437102014-10-03T15:13:48.769-07:002014-10-03T15:13:48.769-07:00But what about THE BELL?
