Tools of the Trade

This selection of wizarding wands comes to us from MacFie's Wand and Wizard Shop.  I like the shorter style of wands.  The long, slender ones can certainly look nice, but they seem too delicate for practical daily use.  YMMV, of course.

 

The Indiana Jones File

 This is one of those incredibly niche props that I absolutely adore.  Christian Troels Tvernø Guldager brings us this recreation of the FBI file on Dr. Henry Jones, Jr..  It's based on glimpses of the original in Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indian Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.  Click through for a complete gallery of shots.

Dwemer Cube

This recreation of the Dwemer Cube from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim comes to us from Sascha at Pushels Craft.

Sander Propworx returns to our pages with this absolutely amazing LARP knife.  It's hard to believe it's a combat safe prop and not a real steel blade.

McCormick Wands returns to our pages with this beautiful selection of wizard's wands.  I can personally attest to the quality of their work.  I gave one of their wands as a Christmas present and the recipient absolutely loved it.

Jeremy Smith brings us this nicely done Cthulhu totem.  He'll have both physical copies and the files for 3D printing your own available in the near future.

Not to get all "back in my day", but back when Propnomicon started every single idol was a physical sculpt.  Now roughly half the Cthulhu idols being offered up start life as digital models.  What a time to be alive.

 

Not of This Earth

This is cool.  Grant Cross has posted some WIP shots of an alien Grey skull turned into an anatomical specimen.  The level of detail is just amazing.  Click through to check out both sides of the skull.  This is going to be really impressive when the paint job is finished.
