It’s a lot less problematic in making multiple variations of items, but a good deal less hands on than the lost wax system. Clearly this is the way of the future for those who don’t have hot metal casting capabilities. My only chuckle is that Shapeways seems to think that bronze and brass are semiprecious, although I do like the multiple materials and finishes available on order from sandstone, plastic to metals.
